- Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, inventory levels, and machine availability.
- Material Planning: Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure timely availability of raw materials, castings, and bought-out components.
- Routing & BOM Management: Validate and update routing and bill of materials (BOM) in ERP systems to reflect accurate process flows.
- Capacity Planning: Analyze machine and manpower capacity to align production targets with available resources.
- Workflow Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in machining and assembly lines and propose corrective actions to improve throughput.
- ERP Coordination: Use ERP tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, SAP) to track production orders, monitor progress, and generate planning reports.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Liaise with design, quality, and purchase teams to resolve planning conflicts and ensure smooth execution.
- Reporting: Prepare daily production status reports, delay analysis, and delivery forecasts for management review.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure planning activities adhere to ISO standards and maintain accurate documentation for audits.
