Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Software Engineer with hands-on experience in the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable web applications, building robust backend services, and creating seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop, test, and maintain web applications using the MERN Stack.
● Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js.
● Design and develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
● Work with MongoDB databases, including schema design and query optimisation.
● Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to implement new features.
● Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance.
● Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
● Ensure code quality, security, and scalability of applications.
● Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.
Required Skills:
● Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in MERN Stack development.
● Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
● Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
● Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
● Understanding of responsive web design principles.
● Knowledge of authentication and authorisation mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
● Basic understanding of cloud deployment and hosting environments.
● Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
● Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
● Proficiency in Git and version control workflows.
● Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
● Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment processes.
● Knowledge of application monitoring, scalability, and performance optimisation.
Qualification:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
● Relevant projects, internships, or professional experience in web application development.
● A strong GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing MERN Stack projects will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
