Job Description
Reliant Institute of Logistics is hiring an experienced Logistics Faculty member for our Kozhikode branch. We are looking for an industry professional who can bring real-world logistics and supply chain expertise into the classroom, mentoring students and preparing them for careers in the logistics sector.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver classroom training on logistics and supply chain management topics, including freight forwarding, warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and customs/documentation
Design and update course curriculum to reflect current industry practices and trends
Conduct practical sessions, case studies, and simulations based on real industry scenarios
Mentor students on industry expectations, certifications, and career pathways
Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and practical assessments
Coordinate with the academic team on scheduling, exams, and academic events
Stay updated on developments in logistics, e-commerce, cold chain, air/rail freight, and allied sectors
Support placement initiatives by leveraging industry contacts and networks
Assist in developing study materials, presentations, and assessment tools
Requirements
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field
6–10 years of hands-on industry experience in logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, or supply chain operations
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Malayalam
Prior teaching/training experience preferred but not mandatory
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and engage students effectively
