About the role. (5-10 YOE)
We’re looking for a Senior / Lead Data Scientist who enjoys solving business problems as much as working with data. This role is ideal for someone who can partner closely with stakeholders, understand the bigger business picture, and use analytics to drive meaningful decisions and outcomes. We are looking for someone who is comfortable dealing with ambiguity, asking the right questions, and breaking down complex problems into structured, actionable solutions. While experience in Machine Learning or Generative AI is a plus, this role is more focused on business analytics, decision science, stakeholder management, and creating measurable business impact rather than building ML models in isolation. Key Responsibilities. Partner with business stakeholders to solve complex problems using data-driven analytics and decision science. Proven ability to identify business opportunities is preferred. Lead end-to-end analytics engagements including KPI tracking, forecasting, reporting, dashboards, and insight generation to deliver tangible business benefits / impact. Strong hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, Power BI/Tableau, with excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. 5–10 years of experience in Data Science / Business Analytics; exposure to ML, GenAI, cloud, or modern data platforms is an added advantage. Required Skills to Have. Strong expertise in SQL, Python, data analysis, visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau), and business analytics. Excellent problem-solving, structured thinking, and ability to work on ambiguous business challenges. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and data storytelling skills with business-facing experience. Ability to independently drive analytical projects with a solid understanding of business metrics and decision-making frameworks. Good to Have. Exposure to Machine Learning and predictive analytics use cases. Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG pipelines, AI agents, or conversational analytics solutions. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience working with Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar modern data platforms. Prior exposure to consulting, financial services, product analytics, risk analytics, or operational analytics domains
Pay: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
