About the Role
Pure Root Export is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Assistant with 3–4 years of experience in the agro industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sales of agricultural products such as seeds, grains, pulses, or other agro commodities and be comfortable with extensive field travel across India.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers, traders, farmers, and institutional buyers.
- Conduct field visits across various regions in India to generate new business opportunities.
- Promote and sell the company's agricultural products, including seeds, grains, and related agro commodities.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify new markets, customers, and distribution channels.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in agricultural exhibitions, trade fairs, and promotional activities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 3–4 years of proven sales experience in agro-based industries.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural products, particularly seeds, grains, and related commodities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
