We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations for multiple US-based clients, lead accounting teams, ensure financial accuracy, and provide strategic financial insights that help our clients grow their businesses.

- Oversee the complete accounting cycle for assigned US clients.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and client-specific reporting requirements.
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable recommendations.
- Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure all accounts are reconciled accurately and on time.
- Review accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules.
- Maintain supporting schedules and workpapers.
- Assist clients with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Develop cash flow projections and financial models.
- Monitor budget variances and provide explanations and recommendations.
- Support strategic planning and business decision-making.
- Design and maintain effective internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Support audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
- Assist with tax preparers and compliance requirements.
- Serve as the primary finance contact for assigned clients.
- Conduct regular financial review meetings with business owners.
- Present financial reports and business insights.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Lead and mentor accounting managers, senior accountants, and bookkeeping staff.
- Review work performed by team members.
- Allocate workload and manage team productivity.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Train and develop team members on accounting best practices.
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of accounting and finance experience.
- 2+ years in a Controller, Finance Manager, or Senior Accounting Manager role.
- Experience handling US-based clients is mandatory.
- Experience working in an accounting firm or outsourced accounting environment preferred.
