Join the brand new Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience Lab at GITAM university in Visakhapatnam. I am looking for a motivated, hard-working and curious individual to join our team in a Laboratory/Project Assistant position funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India and support our ongoing work to identify fundamental mechanisms in synapse biology with potential translational outcomes. As a Laboratory/Project Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our lab. This position involves working both independently and collaboratively with other researchers to carry out experiments and support lab upkeep. The position is for 2 years including a probation period of 3 months and with future possibility for joining the GITAM PhD program.
The candidate will join a young and vibrant research group with access to state-of-the-art facilities and opportunity to advance our mechanistic understanding of epilepsy and other neurological disorders arising from neuronal hyperexcitability.
