Role Overview
The F&B Steward is responsible for providing efficient and courteous food and beverage service to guests while maintaining service standards and cleanliness in dining areas. The role focuses on ensuring a pleasant dining experience and supporting smooth restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Service Operations
- Provide food and beverage service to guests in restaurants, banquets, and other outlets.
- Assist in table setup, mise en place, and outlet preparation before service.
- Serve food and beverages as per established service standards.
- Clear tables and reset them promptly for the next service.
Guest Service
- Welcome guests politely and assist them during dining.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
Coordination
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service of food orders.
- Inform supervisors about guest feedback or service issues.
Quality & Hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of service areas, tables, and equipment.
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure correct handling of crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service (freshers can apply).
- Basic communication and guest handling skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
