About the Role
We are looking for a DVA Modeler to create, maintain, and validate Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVA) models that simulate assembly processes, tolerances, and CAD data to predict dimensional variation and product quality. This role supports automotive OEM programs and works closely with GDME/DCD engineering teams on appearance, functional, and supplier-related DVA studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and validate DVA models using CAD data, locating strategies, input tolerances, and design specifications
- Perform Appearance DVA assessments for exterior and interior components per Ford DCD standards (FDJ to OKTB) and prepare summary reports
- Execute Functional DVA studies for UN/UP functional requirements and prepare technical memo reports
- Conduct What-If DVA studies covering attachment, packaging, alignment, and TVM actions across vehicle systems (powertrain, exterior, interior, exhaust, battery, engine, chassis)
- Perform Supplier End Item GD&T DVA studies, develop supplier assembly DVA models, and prepare evidence books
- Validate simulation results, troubleshoot model discrepancies, and incorporate feedback from GDME/DCD engineers
- Support post-FDJ to OKTB DVA deliverables (DVA X to DVA 3) with on-time delivery and zero quality defects
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience level: Fresher (1–2 yrs) / Junior (2+ yrs) / Senior (7+ yrs) — specify per opening
- Basic knowledge of CAD tools (CATIA, NX) and Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVA) concepts
- Understanding of GD&T, Statistical Process Control (SPC), automotive engineering principles, and suspension systems
- Hands-on experience with Vis VSA (Vis Mockup), Teamcenter/Active Workspace, and MS Office
- GD&T certification preferred (added advantage)
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
