Job Summary
The Customer Service Associate (CSA) is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with food selection, handling billing transactions, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth day-to-day food service operations. The role requires a customer-focused approach, good communication skills, and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages as per company standards.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle cash/card transactions.
- Ensure food counters, dining areas, and service stations are clean and well-maintained.
- Replenish food items, beverages, and consumables as required.
- Address customer queries and resolve complaints promptly.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in stock monitoring and inventory control.
- Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams for smooth service.
- Support catering and special meal service requirements when needed.
- Maintain grooming and uniform standards at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 10th/12th Pass.
- Prior experience in food service, cafeteria, restaurant, or hospitality is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of billing/POS operations.
- Customer-oriented attitude with a positive approach.
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
Preferred Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in Food Service, Cafeteria, Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), Corporate Dining, or Hospitality Operations.
