Job Summary
Responsible for production planning, scheduling, material coordination, production monitoring, and ensuring timely completion of production targets while maintaining optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and business requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor actual production against planned production and identify deviations.
- Prepare and circulate daily production schedules and production reports.
- Ensure availability of raw materials, consumables, tools, and other production requirements.
- Monitor machine capacity, manpower availability, and production bottlenecks.
- Prepare MRP / Material Requirement Planning and coordinate with Purchase and Stores.
- Track work orders, production orders, pending jobs, and delivery commitments.
- Analyze production downtime, rejection, rework, and productivity.
- Follow up on production priorities and ensure orders are completed within the planned schedule.
- Maintain PPC-related MIS reports, production dashboards, and KPI reports.
- Coordinate with the Quality Department to ensure production meets required quality standards.
- Coordinate with Dispatch/Logistics for finished-goods availability and customer delivery schedules.
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce production delays.
- Ensure proper documentation and system updates for production transactions.
- Prepare management reports on production status, pending orders, capacity utilization, and delivery performance.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
- Knowledge of ERP / SAP Business One or similar ERP systems.
- Good knowledge of MRP, BOM, production orders, inventory, and material planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and reporting.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple production priorities and meet deadlines.
Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
5–8 years or above of experience in PPC/Production Planning in a manufacturing industry. Experience in steel, engineering, fabrication, rolling, or metal manufacturing will be preferred.

Pay: ₹568,273.91 - ₹2,536,259.32 per month
