We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist 2, Infrastructure Operations Analyst to join our team. This role is located in Pune.
Key Responsibilities
The Global File Transfer Services (GFTS) Development team is responsible for designing and configuring secure file transmission solutions using approved BNY products and protocols. This role requires deep technical expertise across supported transmission platforms and the ability to configure solutions across a broad range of file transfer technologies. The individual is expected to review assigned transmission requests, assess customer and business requirements, and work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to implement standardized, secure, and reliable file transfer solutions. In addition, the role requires the ability to address complex technical queries, provide sound technical guidance and recommendations, and support effective solution delivery. A strong working knowledge of workload provisioning, along with proven troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills, is essential for success in this role.
Required Skill Set
- Subject matter expertise in one or more enterprise file transfer products such as: BizManager (OpenText), Sterling File Gateway (IBM), Connect: Direct (IBM), Connect: Enterprise (IBM), Sterling Control Center (IBM)
- Strong support knowledge of secure file transfer protocols, including: SFTP, HTTPS, AS2
- Good understanding of encryption and security mechanisms, including PGP encryption, Authentication and key management concepts
- Experience in centralized monitoring, automation, and service level alerting.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem investigation skills for file transfer and workload-related issues.
- Working knowledge of operating systems and platforms, including z/OS, Unix, Linux, Windows, Mainframe
- Experience working with ServiceNow for request management, tracking, and support workflows.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in enterprise managed file transfer environments.
- Exposure to production support and operational governance processes.
- Understanding of workload provisioning and batch scheduling concepts.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
