We are an interior manufacturing company providing manufacturing support to multiple interior design and execution companies.
We manufacture products mainly for residential interiors, including:
- Modular Kitchens
- Wardrobes
- TV Units
- Crockery Units
- Storage Units
- Bedroom Furniture
- Other Modular Residential Furniture
We are looking for an experienced Floor In-Charge / Production In-Charge who can take complete responsibility for the manufacturing floor and ensure that all jobs are produced with the required quality, accuracy and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities1. Complete Floor Management
- Take complete ownership of the day-to-day manufacturing floor.
- Manage CNC operators, edge-banding operators, beam-saw operators, carpenters and helpers.
- Allocate manpower according to production requirements.
- Plan and monitor production from cutting → CNC → edge banding → drilling → carpentry → assembly → QC → packing.
- Track every job until it is ready for dispatch.
- Ensure production targets and project deadlines are achieved.
2. Machine & Operator Management
The candidate should have practical knowledge of:
- CNC Router / CNC Machining
- Edge-Banding Machine
- Beam Saw / Panel Saw
- Drilling Machines
- Other woodworking machinery
He should be able to monitor machine utilisation, operator performance, machine downtime and production bottlenecks.
3. Residential Interior Manufacturing
The candidate should have experience or strong understanding of manufacturing:
- Modular Kitchens
- Wardrobes
- TV Units
- Crockery Units
- Loft & Storage Units
- Bedroom Furniture
- Other Modular Residential Furniture
He should be familiar with plywood, MDF, HDHMR, laminates, veneers and other interior materials.
4. Production Planning & Execution
- Understand production drawings, cutting lists and job requirements.
- Plan daily and weekly production.
- Prioritise jobs according to project and installation deadlines.
- Coordinate with management/design/PPC teams.
- Identify production delays and bottlenecks early.
- Take corrective action to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate multiple residential interior projects simultaneously.
5. Quality Control
- Check dimensions and production accuracy.
- Monitor CNC output and edge-banding quality.
- Check drilling, assembly and finishing.
- Identify manufacturing errors before dispatch.
- Reduce rework, rejection and material wastage.
- Ensure products are installation-ready.
6. Manpower Management
- Manage machine operators, carpenters and helpers.
- Allocate daily work and monitor productivity.
- Track attendance and manpower utilisation.
- Maintain discipline on the shop floor.
- Guide and train junior workers where required.
7. Material & Inventory Coordination
- Monitor availability of plywood, MDF, HDHMR, laminates, hardware and other production materials.
- Inform management about material shortages in advance.
- Minimise material wastage.
- Maintain basic material and production records.
- Coordinate with purchase/store teams whenever materials are required.
8. Tally & Computer Skills
- Basic working knowledge of Tally is preferred.
- Should be able to handle basic inventory/material entries where required.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel for production tracking, manpower and job status.
- Should be comfortable maintaining simple production and material records.
9. Machine Maintenance & Safety
- Monitor machine condition and coordinate maintenance/service requirements.
- Minimise machine downtime.
- Ensure proper machine and tool housekeeping.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline on the production floor.
- Ensure workers follow basic safety procedures.
10. Daily Production Reporting
The Floor In-Charge will be responsible for tracking and reporting:
- Jobs completed
- Jobs pending
- Daily production output
- Manpower utilisation
- Machine downtime
- Rework / rejection
- Material shortages
- Quality issues
- Dispatch-ready jobs
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a hands-on residential interior manufacturing professional, not just a general factory supervisor.
The ideal candidate should have experience in a modular kitchen, wardrobe, furniture or residential interior manufacturing setup.
Required / Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of experience in modular furniture / interior manufacturing.
- Strong practical knowledge of CNC, edge banding and beam saw.
- Experience managing machine operators, carpenters and helpers.
- Experience manufacturing kitchens, wardrobes and other residential furniture.
- Ability to understand furniture production drawings and cutting lists.
- Strong manpower management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under tight project deadlines.
- Basic Tally and Excel knowledge preferred.
- Tamil communication required.
- Basic English communication preferred.

The person should be capable of independently managing:
Manpower → Machines → Materials → Production → Quality → Rework → Dispatch
He should be a hands-on leader who is present on the shop floor, understands the work being done and solves problems quickly.

Compensation
**₹35,000–₹40,000 per
