We are looking for a skilled CNC & VMC Operator to operate and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines for precision machining work. The candidate should be able to read engineering drawings, set machine parameters, inspect finished components, and ensure production quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC and VMC machines efficiently and safely.
- Load raw materials and unload finished components.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Set tools, offsets, and machine parameters.
- Monitor machining operations and adjust settings when required.
- Perform quality inspection using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintain production records and daily reports.
- Ensure proper machine cleaning and routine maintenance.
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Identify machining defects and report issues to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of G-code and M-code.
