Job Summary
We are looking for an HR Officer to manage day-to-day HR activities at our cocopeat factory. The person will handle employee records, attendance, recruitment, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and employee welfare activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage daily attendance, leave, shift and overtime records.
2. Handle recruitment and onboarding of factory employees.
3. Maintain employee personal files and HR records.
4. Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality and other departments for manpower requirements.
5. Support payroll preparation by providing attendance, leave and overtime data.
6. Handle employee queries related to salary, attendance, leave and company policies.
7. Coordinate contract labour / temporary manpower and maintain related records.
8. Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
9. Maintain records related to ESI, PF, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, etc., as applicable.
10. Conduct new employee induction and HR orientation.
11. Coordinate training programs, safety awareness and employee welfare activities.
12. Monitor discipline, employee grievances and workplace issues.
13. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly HR/MIS reports.
14. Assist in performance appraisal and employee engagement activities.
15. Ensure proper implementation of company HR policies and procedures.
16. Support factory management during labour inspections, audits and statutory requirements.
17. Maintain proper documentation for factory workers, shifts and manpower deployment.
18. Perform other HR and administrative duties assigned by management.
Required Skills
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge of factory HR operations.
· Basic knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
· Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
· Ability to maintain HR records accurately.
· Good coordination and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to handle workers and contract labour professionally.
Qualification & Experience
· Qualification: MBA/PGDM – HR / MSW / BBA/BBM – HR or equivalent.
· Experience: 2–5 years in factory/manufacturing HR, preferably in an agro/manufacturing industry.
· Preferred: Experience in handling shift employees, contract labour, attendance, payroll and statutory compliance.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
