Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-driven MIS / Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across departments in our food manufacturing business. The role involves generating reports, analyzing trends, and maintaining databases to ensure operational efficiency and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain MIS reports for production, inventory, sales, and procurement.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards for cross-functional teams.
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and insights.
- Prepare reports related to wastage, cost analysis, and process efficiency.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to collect and validate data.
- Automate repetitive reporting tasks using Excel macros or BI tools.
- Maintain master data and ensure data accuracy across all reports and systems.
- Support management in planning and forecasting activities.
- Assist in implementing and improving ERP/MIS systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Analytics, IT, or a related field.
- Approximately 2 years of experience in MIS or data analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros/VBA).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or ERP systems (SAP/Tally) preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle large datasets with accuracy and attention to detail.
