Responsibilities:
The Consolidation Specialist is responsible for managing the global financial consolidation process, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams across accounting, finance, FP&A, tax, and regional controllership to support financial close, reporting, and strategic initiatives.

Financial Consolidation & Close

Financial Reporting

Support preparation of consolidated financial statements and disclosures for SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q)

Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies

Assist in preparation of management reporting and variance analysis

Cross-Functional Collaboration
-
Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and regional finance teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues

Work closely with business units to understand transactions impacting consolidation (e.g., acquisitions, restructuring)

Support external audit processes and respond to auditor queries

Process Improvement & Automation
-
Drive process improvements in consolidation workflows and reporting timelines

Leverage systems (e.g., Oracle, OneStream) to enhance automation and efficiency

Support system upgrades, cloud transformations, and reporting tool enhancements

Strategic Initiatives Support

Support accounting and consolidation for acquisitions, divestitures, and integration activities

Assist with implementation of new accounting standards

Contribute to special projects and company-driven initiatives

Provide real-time guidance and oversight for global stakeholders across time zones
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ( Chartered Accountant with a techno-functional background preferred)
3–7+ years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, or corporate accounting
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial consolidation principles
Experience with consolidation systems (e.g., Oracle,OneStream, MSTR)
Proficiency in Excel and financial data analysis
