Job Title: Design Engineer – Control Panels
Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.

An Electrical Draftsman working on GA drawings focuses on the physical layout, dimensions, and placement of electrical components rather than detailed electrical calculations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare GA drawings for LT panels such as MCC, PCC, APFC, Fire Panels, DG Sync Panels, AMF/ATS panels
- Develop panel layout drawings: front view, side view, top view, internal mounting layouts
- Show component placement (MCCBs, ACBs, contactors, busbars, relays, meters, terminals, glands)
- Indicate dimensions, clearances, cable entry/exit, ventilation, and mounting details
- Revise drawings based on consultant/client comments
- Coordinate with design, estimation, and production teams
- Ensure drawings comply with IEC / IS standards and manufacturing feasibility
Skills & Tools
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (2D)
- Understanding of LV panel construction and switchgear]
- Ability to read SLD, BOQ, and technical specifications
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and panel wiring practices
- Attention to detail and version control
Output Deliverables
- GA Drawings (PDF & DWG)
- Panel layout drawings for manufacturing
- As-built drawings (if required)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
