We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in Open-Source technologies, REST APIs, Kafka, Spring Boot, and Unix/Linux environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in backend development and be comfortable working with DBMS systems in high-performance, scalable environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support front-end functionalities and third-party integrations.
- Leverage open-source libraries and tools to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.
- Work with Kafka for building reliable, scalable data pipelines and streaming services.
- Write efficient database queries, stored procedures, and optimize performance across various DBMS platforms (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Operate within Unix/Linux environments, write shell scripts and troubleshoot server-side issues.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and maintain high coding standards.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and other developers in an Agile environment.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java (8 or above).
- Strong understanding of Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of Micro Services and collection, Design patten and Data Structure
- Proven experience in developing RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in using Kafka for real-time data streaming.
- Solid experience with relational DBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting.
- Experience working with open-source tools and frameworks.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
