Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to support the quality assurance efforts of our software products. In this role, you will focus on manual and basic automated testing to ensure applications meet defined quality standards and user expectations. You will work closely with developers and QA team members in an Agile/Scrum environment to execute test cases, identify and report defects, and validate application workflows, UI/UX, and functionality. This position is ideal for candidates with QA experience who are eager to take full ownership and grow their testing skills, and contribute to delivering reliable, high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform *manual testing* on applications to ensure quality and functionality.
· Design, review, and execute *test cases, test scenarios, and test strategies*.
· Identify, log, track, and report *bugs and issues* effectively.
· Participate in *test execution, regression testing, and test reporting*.
· Validate *UI/UX, workflows, and overall application behavior*.
· Maintain clear and detailed *QA documentation*.
· Collaborate with development teams in an *Agile/Scrum environment*.
· Participate in daily stand-ups and QA review meetings.
· Reproduce issues and support developers in resolving defects.
· Prioritize test cases based on business and technical impact.
Required Skills:
· Strong knowledge of *Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)* and testing methodologies.
· Experience in *functional and regression testing*.
· Familiarity with *defect tracking tools, test case management tools, Agile tools, and project management tools*.
· Ability to document and troubleshoot errors effectively.
· Strong understanding of *software quality best practices and methodologies*.
· Good test case prioritization skills.
Requirements:
· *3+ years* of hands-on experience in functional testing.
· Experience with automation tools such as *Selenium, Cypress, Playwright*, etc.
· Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
· Basic knowledge of *databases and SQL queries* for data validation.
· Understanding of *data, ETL processes, and data pipelines*.
