About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning and deep learning solutions tailored for healthcare applications. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—including data engineers, software developers, and clinical experts—to build intelligent systems that enhance automation, decision-making, and predictive capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models for healthcare use cases such as diagnostics, NLP-based summarization, and conversational AI.
- Process and analyze both structured and unstructured healthcare data with high accuracy and reliability.
- Deploy scalable AI solutions using containerization and MLOps frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Continuously monitor model performance, detect data drift, and implement retraining strategies.
- Ensure model transparency by incorporating bias detection, explainability (XAI), and validation techniques.
- Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to integrate AI capabilities into production systems.
Objectives / KPIs
- Achieve ≥90% F1 score or <5% error in NLP outputs.
- Deliver production-ready models within agile sprint cycles (2–4 weeks).
- Maintain inference latency below 200ms for real-time AI applications.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation and reproducibility of models and pipelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in AI, NLP, or computer vision.
- Strong coding skills in Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and MLOps tools.
