Job Summary
The Site Technician is responsible for carrying out installation, maintenance, and technical support activities at project sites. The candidate should have hands-on experience in drilling, soldering, electrical measurements, and the use of testing equipment to ensure quality and timely completion of site work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform drilling work as required for equipment installation and site preparation.
- Carry out soldering of wires, connectors, and electronic components.
- Use multimeters for testing, troubleshooting, and measuring electrical parameters.
- Take accurate site measurements and maintain installation standards.
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Identify and resolve basic technical issues at the site.
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines during field operations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Coordinate with supervisors and project teams for smooth execution of work.
- Prepare and submit basic site reports when required.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of drilling tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in using a multimeter.
- Soldering skills for electrical and electronic work.
- Ability to take accurate measurements and read measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
