Technical & Lab Skills:-
- Instrument Operation: Ability to use and calibrate tools like pH meters, alcohol meters, spectrophotometers, and advanced chromatographic systems like HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) or GC (Gas Chromatography).
- Process Knowledge: Understanding chemical reactions during fermentation, distillation, and blending.
- Quality Control (QC): Testing raw materials (grains, molasses, water), monitoring in-process parameters, and analyzing final product clarity, flavor, and alcohol strength.
Soft Skills
- Attention to Detail: Precision in measuring ingredients, recording data, and following strict safety and excise regulations.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting contamination, stuck fermentations, or equipment calibration failures.
- Communication: Writing clear laboratory reports and working closely with production and blending teams.
