Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager – Footwear to manage and control the complete footwear production process. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, controlling manpower and ensuring timely completion of orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day footwear production activities.
- Plan production according to orders, capacity and delivery schedules.
- Achieve daily/monthly production targets.
- Manage production workers, supervisors and line staff.
- Monitor production efficiency and minimize wastage.
- Ensure required quality standards are maintained during production.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, PPC, Quality and Dispatch teams.
- Monitor material availability and production requirements.
- Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions.
- Maintain proper production records and reports.
- Control rejection, rework and material wastage.
- Ensure discipline and safety standards on the production floor.
- Train and guide production staff.
- Continuously improve production efficiency and processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in footwear manufacturing/production.
- Strong knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes.
- Experience in managing production teams and workers.
- Good knowledge of production planning and target achievement.
- Knowledge of quality control and rejection management.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under production deadlines.
Preferred:
Experience in Shoe/Footwear Factory Production Management will be highly preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
