What's the opportunity?
We’re in search of a Lead Data Researcher that is ready to manage vast, varied and extremely high volume data sets. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with Operations, Data Scientists and Process Experts to create and optimize processes that enable the curation and maintenance of data at high velocity. You’ll also lead initiatives related to designing and managing complex workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance of several daily, weekly, and monthly data curation schedules to be published within SLA's like time and quality
- Work with several high-volume 3rd party datasets and convert them into meaningful and easy to consume formats
- Clean and aggregate disparate data in a repeatable and automatable fashion
- Be familiar with database/server architecture
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, then create processes for new data products to be curated
- Continually improve and help automate the delivery of data driven products for external customers
Preferred Experience
- Played lead role in large volume data curation process from design to ongoing execution
- Contributed significantly in efficiency gains using process automation
- A passionate leader driven by compassion to help QORE achieve its growth targets
- A leader with a team orientation and an open style with a strong work ethic; works well under pressure and takes leadership responsibility and accountability on meeting deadlines
- Driven a culture of continuous learning to improve execution and removed roadblocks that held the team back.
- Played a strategic partner who could translate business and analytical problems into technology solutions.
Skill Requirement
- 5+ years of experience in data intensive operations
- Experience with Databases (SQL or NoSQL) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Superior time and project management skills.
- Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting methods.
- Ability to work through ambiguous situations.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects.
- Familiarity with standard software development life cycle approaches
