Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) / Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET) to join our Paint Shop team. The trainee will assist in paint shop operations, monitor painting processes, ensure product quality, maintain safety standards, and support continuous process improvements under the guidance of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily paint shop production activities.
- Monitor surface preparation, primer, powder coating, and painting processes.
- Ensure proper paint thickness, finish quality, and curing parameters.
- Perform visual inspections and maintain quality standards.
- Maintain production records and daily reports.
- Support preventive maintenance of painting equipment.
- Follow 5S, safety, and environmental practices in the paint shop.
- Identify defects and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments.
- Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
Eligibility Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Production/Industrial/Chemical) – GET
- Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Chemical Engineering – DET
- Freshers or candidates with up to 3-6 month expereience are welcome.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of painting and surface treatment processes.
- Understanding of engineering drawings is an advantage.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
