Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Bookkeeping & Reconciliation: Track daily transactions, resolve discrepancies, and reconcile bank and ledger accounts.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns while ensuring adherence to local and national tax laws.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Monitor cash flow, assist in budget creation, and provide financial forecasts for management.
Auditing: Conduct internal audits to verify financial accuracy and prevent mismanagement or fraud.
Qualifications & Skills education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.Certifications: Professional credentials such as CA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA greatly enhance job prospects.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables) and experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Tally.Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities to identify financial trends and cost-saving opportunities.
