Role Overview
We are looking for a mid-level Purchase Executive with experience of 5 years in flexible packaging and chemicals. This is a full-time onsite role at our Wazirpur facility, requiring close coordination with vendors, production, and stores to ensure uninterrupted procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure raw materials, chemicals, and packaging materials as per production requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and quality procurement.
- Maintain vendor relationships and develop new supplier networks for competitive advantage.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store and production teams for timely replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Track market trends in chemicals and packaging materials to optimize purchase strategies.
- Collaborate with finance for payment follow-ups and resolve vendor queries.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: Graduate in B.Tech or any Engineering degree
- Experience: 5 years in purchase/procurement, preferably in flexible packaging or chemical industry.
- Hands-on experience in sourcing from China.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, GST/compliance, and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
