Job Highlight:
We are part of the IT function responsible for managing enterprise systems that support HR, Finance, and Payroll operations , with Workday as the core platform.
We are looking for an intern to support day-to-day system operations, documentation, and basic functional tasks. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to how large organizations run critical business functions through technology.
- Support day-to-day Workday operations and user support activities.
- Assist with data validation, report reviews, reconciliations, and audit activities.
- Help track, investigate, and follow up on system issues, tickets, and user requests.
- Support data clean-up, mass updates, and system maintenance activities.
- Maintain internal documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.
- Assist with Workday release testing and post-deployment validation.
- Support reporting and dashboard validation to ensure data accuracy.
- Support documentation of business processes across HR, Finance, and Payroll functions in Workday.
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
- Create process maps, SOPs, user guides, and functional documentation.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and test execution.
- Assist with reporting analysis and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities for efficiency.
- Assist in analyzing Workday integrations and data flows between systems.
- Support validation of inbound and outbound data interfaces.
- Help document integration requirements, field mappings, and technical specifications.
- Work with XML, JSON, APIs, and data structures to support troubleshooting and analysis.
- Assist technical teams with testing, defect tracking, and issue resolution.
- Support root cause analysis for system and integration issues.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Com, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Communicates technical information effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a structured and process-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Exposure to Workday, ERP, HRIS, or enterprise applications.
- Strong Excel skills including data validation, analysis, and reporting.
- Basic understanding of SQL, APIs, XML, or JSON.
- Familiarity with HR, Finance, Payroll, or business operations processes.
- Interest in enterprise systems, integrations, and digital transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts quickly
