We are looking for dedicated, responsible and student-focused teachers to join our school for Classes 6–10 in the following subjects:
English | Hindi | Mathematics | Physics | Chemistry | Biology | History | Civics | Geography | Economics | Sanskrit
Key Responsibilities
● Teach the assigned subject according to the school’s curriculum and academic plan.
● Ensure that students understand concepts rather than simply memorising answers.
● Provide wholesome education, contributing to students’ academic, social, moral and behavioural development.
● Give special attention to weak, slow-learning and struggling students and make reasonable efforts to bring them up to the level of the class.
● Encourage students to ask questions, participate in discussions and develop confidence.
● Maintain proper classroom discipline and ensure students follow school rules.
● Handle discipline firmly but without physical punishment, humiliation or abusive language.
● Maintain a respectful and positive relationship with students.
● Regularly assess students’ learning through classwork, homework, tests and other appropriate methods.
● Complete syllabus and assigned academic work on time.
● Maintain required academic records, notebooks, syllabus trackers and other school documentation.
● Coordinate with the class teacher and other teachers regarding students’ academic progress and behaviour.
● Communicate genuine concerns regarding students to the coordinator/management in a timely manner.
● Participate in school activities, meetings, examinations, PTMs and other assigned duties.
● Be punctual, regular, responsible and willing to take ownership of assigned work.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
● Strong knowledge of the subject being taught.
● Good communication and explanation skills.
● The ability to teach students with different learning abilities and academic levels.
● Good classroom management and discipline skills.
● Patience, consistency and a positive attitude towards students.
● A willingness to take responsibility rather than making excuses for students’ poor performance.
● Professional behaviour and respect towards students, parents and colleagues.
● Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
Relevant teaching experience will be preferred. Freshers with strong subject knowledge, confidence and genuine interest in teaching may also apply.
