Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer who can take complete ownership of backend systems and production environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, Java, AWS cloud services, and system architecture. This role involves solving production issues, building scalable backend systems, and helping migrate on-premise applications to cloud-native AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and Java
- Handle production issues, debugging, root cause analysis, and system optimization
- Build and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS services
- Work on migration of on-premise systems to AWS cloud architecture
- Collaborate with technical teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following SDLC best practices
- Manage databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle with advanced SQL queries
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using Terraform
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance continuously
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of backend/software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Python backend development
- Good experience in Java and Bash scripting
- Strong knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, API Gateway, and Kinesis
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Strong database knowledge in PostgreSQL / Oracle and SQL
- Experience with Elasticsearch or similar technologies
- Experience with Docker and cloud architecture best practices
- Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Good to Have:
- Experience with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Experience with ETL pipelines and data workflows
- AWS Certifications
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Prior experience in cloud migration projects

Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
