Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
- Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation, promotion, transfer and relieving documents.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Handle attendance, leave management and HRMS updates.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and induction.
- Process employee exits, full & final settlements and documentation.
- Support employee engagement activities and HR initiatives.
Payroll & Compliance
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs and salary processing.
- Maintain statutory records and compliance documents.
- Ensure compliance under:
- Shops & Establishments Act
- EPF
- ESIC
- Professional Tax (where applicable)
- Labour Welfare Fund (where applicable)
- Payment of Wages Act
- Minimum Wages Act
- Payment of Bonus Act
- Gratuity Act
- Maternity Benefit Act
- Coordinate statutory audits and labour inspections.
- Maintain compliance registers and records.
- Liaise with consultants and government authorities for statutory compliance.
HR Administration
- Maintain employee files and confidential records.
- Manage HR policies, SOPs and documentation.
- Handle employee queries related to HR policies and benefits.
- Support performance appraisal processes.
- Prepare HR reports and MIS for management.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with payroll coordination.
- Knowledge of HRMS software.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in HR or Master’s in Human Resources.
- Experience in HR Operations and statutory compliance.
- Prior experience in the BFSI, DSA or financial services industry will be an added advantage.
