We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales & Estimation Engineer to join our growing team in Jaipur.
Position Summary
The Sales & Estimation Engineer will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, preparing accurate project cost estimates, coordinating with clients, and supporting the sales process for electrical projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of electrical systems along with excellent communication and commercial skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in electrical and industrial projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical presentations.
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and tenders to convert opportunities into orders.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
Estimation & Tendering
- Review RFQs, tender documents, BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, manpower, equipment, and subcontracting costs.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and suppliers.
- Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
- Prepare tender submissions and bid documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams for accurate costing.
Technical Support
- Provide technical clarifications to clients during pre-sales discussions.
- Support project execution teams with estimation-related information.
- Maintain estimation databases and cost records for future reference.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–6 years of experience in Electrical Estimation, Tendering, Sales, or Business Development.
- Experience in Electrical Contracting, MEP, Industrial, Commercial, or Infrastructure Projects preferred.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems, LT/HT installations, cable sizing, panels, transformers, and related electrical equipment.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and estimation software.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
