Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Telecom Associate Manager (Telecom) with hands-on experience in managing telecom utility - Colo operations, field teams, and Technician coordination. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring 100% uptime of utility infrastructure, leading preventive and corrective maintenance, managing site-level escalations, and ensuring service quality and operational compliance across the assigned zone.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Maintenance (O&M):
- Lead and manage telecom utility operations across all sites within the assigned zone.
- Ensure execution of Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules with quality checks and documentation.
- Maintain 100% uptime of utility infrastructure.
- Hands-on troubleshooting of critical equipment such as SMPS, Battery Bank, PIU, DG, Servo Stabilizers, Air Conditioners, Transformers, Breakers, and other AC/DC systems.
- Manage Telecom Colo operations, Fiber Operations, including preventive audits and compliance.
- Directly coordinate with partner agencies, technicians, FRTs, and local vendors for site readiness and issue resolution.
- Supervise field resources, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks with quality compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure and ensure operational continuity in critical conditions 24x7.
- Oversee root cause analysis and resolution of faults related to power, equipment
- Handle customer access requests, activity planning, and routine coordination. Ensure seamless onboarding of new customers and maintain regular communication for issue resolution. Should have a collaborative and customer-centric approach.
- Maintain complaint trackers, generate monthly performance reports, and share updates with Management.
- Track and follow up on P&F Billing, EB bill collections, and coordinate with DISCOM for complaint registration and resolution
- Participate in monthly site audits, asset verification, New Colo development, BoQ validation, Last Mile laying and documentation.
- Monitor and maintain alarm dashboards, trackers, and asset data records.
- Effective communication, vendor coordination, and stakeholder handling skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, alarm management tools, and complaint tracking systems.
- Address landowner issues and ensure legal/operational compliance.
Technical Qualification:
Graduate in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, or related discipline.
Minimum 6–10 years of relevant experience in telecom utility operations.
Proven experience in field troubleshooting and utility equipment management.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
