Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
We are hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer for one of our leading manufacturing clients.
Location: Marol, Mumbai
Experience: 5–8+ Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹8 LPA – ₹12 LPA (Based on experience)
Eligibility & Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
- 5–8+ years of relevant experience in product design and development, preferably in a multinational or multicultural environment.
- Strong knowledge of the complete product design and development lifecycle.
- Experience in the design, development, and certification testing of electrical products.
- Hands-on experience with 3D CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor, Creo, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent understanding of press tools, molds, and manufacturing processes.
- Expertise in defining tool and mold specifications.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, ISO standards, and Poka-Yoke methodologies.
- Innovative mindset with experience in product innovation (patents/IPR exposure will be an added advantage).
- Strong technical, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze competitor products, design methodologies, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
- Study market specifications and functional requirements to develop competitive product designs.
- Benchmark product specifications against market requirements and industry standards.
- Design and develop innovative product concepts with an industrial design approach based on research and customer requirements.
- Participate in new product development with a focus on innovation and intellectual property creation.
- Conduct product testing and validation throughout the design and development lifecycle until product launch.
- Analyze test results, identify design improvements, and enhance product performance, quality, and reliability.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation across all phases of product development.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to ensure products are manufactured as per design specifications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in design, quality, and manufacturing processes.
Work Schedule
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Preference: Immediate joiners will be given priority.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
