Job Title: Accounts & Finance Manager
Location: Hilite Business Park, Calicut, Kerala
Salary Package: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Accounts & Finance Manager to oversee the company's accounting, finance, taxation, compliance, and reporting functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring statutory compliance, preparing financial reports, monitoring cash flow, and supporting management with financial planning and business decision-making.
Candidates with prior experience in the Electronics Retail or E-Commerce industry will be preferred, as the role requires an understanding of inventory-based business operations, multi-channel sales, and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Financial Operations
- Manage and oversee daily accounting and finance operations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
- Supervise Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation processes.
- Ensure proper recording and reconciliation of all financial transactions.
- Monitor inventory accounting and stock-related financial transactions.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate MIS reports and management reports on a timely basis.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Conduct variance analysis and monitor key financial metrics.
- Assist management in strategic financial planning and decision-making.
Budgeting & Cash Flow Management
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget utilization and report deviations.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and fund requirements.
- Ensure effective utilization of company resources and financial assets.
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory regulations.
- Prepare and review tax filings and statutory returns.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Team Management
- Lead and supervise the accounts and finance team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and performance-driven work environment.
Process Improvement & Controls
- Develop and strengthen accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Ensure financial accuracy, transparency, and compliance across all operations.
- Implement cost-control initiatives to improve business performance.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
- M.Com (Master of Commerce)
- MBA Finance
- ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
- CMA (Cost and Management Accountant)
- CA (Chartered Accountant)
Required Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounts and Finance.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Manager, Team Leader, Assistant Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar supervisory role.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Odoo ERP (Preferred).
- Working knowledge of Zoho Books and other Zoho applications will be an added advantage.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
- Ability to prepare and analyze MIS reports and financial dashboards.
