About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong Estimation Engineer / BBS Engineer with experience in real estate construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for quantity estimation, BBS preparation, BOQ management
What You'll Do:
Prepare and review accurate Bar Bending Schedules from structural drawings.
Detail reinforcement steel requirements (cut/bend lengths, sizes, shapes) for beams, slabs, columns, etc.
Ensure BBS compliance with design drawings and relevant standards/codes.
Coordinate with site teams to validate reinforcement placement and quantities.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs from construction drawings.
Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and rate analysis for material and labour.
Estimate quantities and costs for materials like steel, concrete, finishing items, etc.
Assist with tender documentation and pricing support.
Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
Prepare cost estimates and rate analysis.
Verify subcontractor measurements and certify payments.
Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget.
Assist in tender preparation and comparative statements.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong knowledge of estimation, quantity surveying, and BBS preparation
- Good analytical, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple project estimations within timelines
- Experience in residential high-rise projects will be preferred
