Job Summary
The HR Executive will be responsible for managing workforce administration, attendance, payroll inputs, contract labour, manpower deployment, employee relations, and statutory compliance across construction sites and offices. The role requires regular coordination with site teams, contractors, supervisors, payroll, and management to ensure adequate manpower and smooth HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR & Manpower Management
- Manage HR activities for construction site, projects, and office locations.
- Coordinate manpower requirements with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Supervisors.
- Plan and coordinate deployment of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled manpower.
- Maintain project-wise and contractor-wise manpower records.
- Monitor absenteeism, manpower shortages, replacements, and employee discipline.
- Coordinate manpower mobilization and demobilization as per project requirements.
2. Attendance & Time Office Management
- Maintain employee and contract labour attendance through biometric/manual systems.
- Monitor shift timings,working hours, weekly offs, and leaves.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly attendance reports.
- Maintain gate passes and records of manpower movement at project sites.
- Verify contractor attendance and reconcile actual manpower with attendance records.
- Provide verified attendance and overtime data to payroll for salary processing.
3. Contract Labour Management
- Coordinate with labour contractors for timely deployment of manpower.
- Maintain contractor-wise manpower strength and deployment records.
- Monitor contractor attendance, absenteeism, discipline, and replacements.
- Verify contractor bills against attendance, deployment, and approved manpower.
- Ensure contractors submit required employee and statutory documents.
- Conduct regular audits of contractor records and compliance.
4. Labour Law & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain records related to PF, ESIC, wages, overtime, attendance, and contractor compliance.
- Coordinate collection and verification of contractor statutory documents.
- Maintain wage registers and other required labour records.
- Support statutory inspections, audits, and documentation requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable requirements relating to working hours, weekly offs, overtime, minimum wages, and contract labour.
5. Payroll & Salary Coordination
- Prepare monthly payroll inputs covering attendance, overtime, leave, deductions, and new joiners.
- Coordinate with payroll/accounts teams for timely salary processing.
- Verify wage calculations and contractor payment records.
- Resolve attendance and salary-related queries raised by employees and contract workers.
6. Employee Relations & Site Administration
- Handle employee and worker grievances and coordinate appropriate resolution.
- Support disciplinary procedures and maintain related records.
- Conduct employee induction and site HR orientation.
- Coordinate with site management regarding workforce-related issues.
- Promote discipline, attendance, and HR policies at project locations.
7. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruitment for site-level and project manpower requirements.
- Screen candidates and coordinate interviews with concerned departments.
- Complete joining formalities and maintain employee personal files.
- Verify required documents before deployment at construction sites.
- Coordinate induction, ID cards, access permissions, and site onboarding.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of construction/site HR operations.
- Experience in contract labour and manpower management.
- Knowledge of attendance, payroll inputs, PF, ESIC, wages, and labour compliance.
- Good command of MS Excel and HRMS/attendance systems.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: MBA/PGDM in HR
- Experience: 2–5 years in HR, preferably in construction, infrastructure, EPC, or project-based organizations.
- Experience handling site manpower and contractors will be preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
