As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. The engineer acts as the main liaison for application-related activities, driving progress and maintaining alignment with project goals throughout the development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills.
- Continuously monitor and improve application performance and reliability.
- Document design specifications and development processes to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Master Data Governance MDG Tool.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and master data management processes.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP Master Data Governance applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to master data workflows and validations.
- Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP MDG and other enterprise systems.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
