We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ceramic and Acrylic Technician to join our dental laboratory team at Scientific Dental Clinic in Kochi, Kerala. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating high-quality ceramic and acrylic dental restorations/prosthesis, including crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant restorations, etc. The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of dental anatomy, esthetics, shade matching, and ceramic layering techniques while maintaining high standards of quality and turnaround time.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate ceramic dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant-supported restorations.
Perform ceramic build-up, layering, contouring, staining, glazing, and finishing.
Match shades accurately to achieve natural-looking restorations.
Inspect restorations for fit, function, esthetics, and quality before final delivery.
Collaborate with dental technicians and dentists to meet case requirements.
Follow laboratory protocols, quality standards, and production timelines.
Keep accurate records of cases and communicate any issues or remakes promptly.
Qualifications .
Atleast 1 year of experience as a Ceramic & acrylic Dental Technician in a dental laboratory (preferred).
Proficiency in ceramic layering, staining, glazing, and finishing techniques.
Knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, morphology, and esthetics.
Experience with zirconia, lithium disilicate (e.g., E.max), and porcelain restorations is an advantage.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM workflows is a plus.
