Head of Operations – Warehouse & Supply Chain
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Head of Operations to lead and optimize our end-to-end warehouse, logistics, inventory, procurement, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate should have 12–15+ years of experience in FMCG, Cosmetics, Retail, or E-commerce and possess strong leadership skills to drive operational excellence, improve customer satisfaction, and ensure cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
Lead and manage end-to-end warehouse operations across multiple locations.
Develop warehouse processes to improve productivity, space utilization, and inventory accuracy.
Ensure timely inward, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns management.
Maintain warehouse SOPs and operational compliance.
Supply Chain Management
Manage the complete supply chain from procurement to customer delivery.
Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, transporters, and distributors.
Optimize logistics costs and improve service levels.
Develop strategies to reduce operational expenses and improve efficiency.
Inventory Management
Ensure inventory accuracy of 99% or above.
Monitor stock ageing, slow-moving inventory, and inventory reconciliation.
Plan inventory based on demand forecasting.
Conduct periodic stock audits and cycle counts.
Order Fulfillment
Ensure timely processing of B2B, B2C, D2C, Marketplace, and Quick Commerce orders.
Monitor order fulfillment KPIs and customer service levels.
Improve dispatch timelines and reduce delivery TAT.
Manage returns (RTO) and reverse logistics efficiently.
Vendor & Procurement Management
Develop strong relationships with logistics partners and warehouse vendors.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
Evaluate vendor performance through defined KPIs.
Manage procurement planning and inventory replenishment.
Process Improvement
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement automation wherever possible.
Develop SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and cost optimization projects.
Implement best practices across operations.
Team Management
Lead warehouse, logistics, planning, inventory, and customer support teams.
Define KRAs and KPIs for team members.
Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions.
Build a high-performance operations culture.
Technology & Reporting
Manage ERP, WMS, OMS, and inventory management systems.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
Monitor operational dashboards and performance metrics.
Ensure accurate reporting and data-driven decision-making.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
MBA/PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain Management will be preferred.
Experience
12–15+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Warehouse, or Logistics Management.
Experience in Cosmetics, FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, or Consumer Goods industry preferred.
Proven experience managing multi-location warehouse operations and large teams.
