Position: Product & Market Research Executive
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Product & Market Research Executive to identify business opportunities through in-depth market research, competitor analysis, product evaluation, and trade data analysis. The ideal candidate should be comfortable speaking with suppliers, distributors, and competitors (through market research methods), analyzing import-export data, and preparing reports that support business growth and product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities and industry trends.
- Research product specifications, applications, market potential, pricing, and customer demand.
- Analyze competitors' products, pricing strategies, distribution channels, and market positioning.
- Contact manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and industry participants to gather product-related information through professional market research.
- Study market size, customer segments, growth potential, and product scope.
- Analyze sales data, market share, and pricing trends.
- Use import-export databases to identify:
- Import and export volumes
- Product values
- Major importers and exporters
- Country-wise trade trends
- Potential suppliers and customers
- Prepare detailed market intelligence reports and product comparison sheets.
- Coordinate with the sales and procurement teams to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of research findings and present actionable recommendations to management.
Required Skills
- Strong market research and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and telephone conversation skills.
- Ability to conduct competitor research professionally and ethically.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with online research tools and import-export trade databases.
- Strong report-writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in market research, product research, business development, or sales analysis.
- Knowledge of B2B markets and international trade is an advantage.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
