A Laboratory Technician is responsible for supporting laboratory operations by performing tests, maintaining equipment, recording data, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. They assist scientists, doctors, or researchers in conducting experiments and analyzing results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare samples, reagents, and laboratory equipment for testing
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and experiments
- Record, analyze, and report test results accurately
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment
- Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the laboratory
- Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulations
- Monitor inventory and order laboratory supplies when needed
- Assist in research and development activities (if applicable)
- Document procedures and maintain laboratory records
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
- Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good record-keeping and documentation skills
- Familiarity with safety standards and protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, lab software)
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
