As project and support demand continues to grow across SCADA systems — including AVEVA InTouch, AVEVA Edge, AVEVA Plant SCADA, and AVEVA Historian — Pima Controls is hiring a Junior Application Engineer to handle basic configuration, troubleshooting, and support activities. This role will reduce dependency on senior engineers, improve project execution speed, and ensure timely support and maintenance for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development and maintenance of SCADA/HMI systems using AVEVA products (InTouch, Edge, Plant SCADA, Historian)
- Perform basic system configuration and PLC communication support
- Assist in software installation, system testing, and site commissioning activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic SCADA/HMI issues in a timely manner
- Follow standard engineering practices and maintain proper project documentation
- Provide on-site and remote support to clients as required
- Coordinate with senior engineers for escalated technical issues
Academic Qualification
Diploma / B.E. in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or Automation Engineering
Experience
1–2 years in SCADA/HMI or industrial automation (freshers with strong fundamentals may apply)
Essential Skills
Basic knowledge of SCADA/HMI systems; troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
Basic SQL / database knowledge; understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, etc.)
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
