Job description:
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Planning
- Prepare structural designs for offshore and onshore facilities.
- Develop layouts, drawings, and specifications for civil works.
- Project Execution
- Supervise construction activities at project sites (pipelines, platforms, buildings).
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Structural Analysis
- Perform load calculations and stability checks for offshore platforms.
- Use engineering software for modeling and simulation.
- Coordination
- Work with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, petroleum engineers).
- Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
- Compliance
- Adhere to environmental and regulatory norms.
- Maintain documentation for audits and inspections.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: ITI / Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Experience: 1 - 2 year
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and other civil design tools.
- Familiarity with offshore construction standards (API, IS codes).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong project management and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in remote and challenging environments.
Typical Work Environment
- Location: Gujarat (Ankleshwar, Ahmedabad, offshore sites ).
- Nature of Work: Combination of office-based design and field/site supervision.
Risks & Challenges
- Working in offshore environments can be physically demanding.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.
