Role Overview:
Responsible for identifying IT-related tender opportunities, preparing compliant and competitive technical & commercial proposals, and coordinating with internal technical teams to ensure successful bid submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor portals like GeM, eProcurement, CPPP, and private tender platforms for IT-related opportunities
- Analyze tender/RFP/RFQ documents for technical and commercial requirements
- Prepare detailed technical proposals (solutions, architecture, compliance matrix)
- Coordinate with IT teams (developers, network engineers, cloud team) for solution inputs
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantity), costing sheets, and pricing (with finance team)
- Ensure compliance with eligibility criteria, certifications, and documentation
- Manage end-to-end bid lifecycle: identification → qualification → submission → follow-up
- Handle e-tendering submissions (digital signatures, portal uploads, documentation)
- Maintain repository of past bids, templates, and reusable content
- Track bid results and prepare reports for management
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IT services/products (software, hardware, networking, cloud, AMC, etc.)
- Familiarity with government tendering platforms (GeM, NIC, state portals)
- Excellent proposal writing & documentation skills
- Understanding of compliance, contracts, and SLAs
- Good Excel skills for costing and BOQ preparation
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and convert into proposals
- Strong coordination and deadline management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- 1–5 years experience in IT tendering / bid management
- Experience handling government IT tenders is highly preferred
- Knowledge of cloud (AWS/Azure), networking, cybersecurity, or software solutions is a plus
