Job Title: Work at Height ExpertQualification
- B.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
- IRATA Level 1 or Level 2 Certification (Mandatory).
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Work at Height activities in industrial, power, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and monitor all work at height activities in compliance with statutory and client safety requirements.
- Verify work-at-height risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and permit-to-work documentation before job execution.
- Inspect and certify the suitability of scaffolding, ladders, mobile platforms, lifelines, and anchorage systems.
- Ensure proper selection, inspection, and usage of fall protection equipment, including full-body harnesses, lanyards, retractable lifelines, and connectors.
- Conduct pre-job briefings, toolbox talks, and safety inductions for personnel involved in work at height.
- Monitor rope access activities and ensure compliance with IRATA procedures and industry best practices.
- Identify fall hazards and implement effective fall prevention and fall arrest measures.
- Stop any unsafe work and recommend immediate corrective actions to eliminate hazards.
- Perform periodic inspections of height safety equipment and maintain inspection records.
- Coordinate rescue planning and ensure emergency rescue equipment is available and functional before work begins.
- Train and mentor workers on safe work-at-height practices and emergency response procedures.
- Investigate work-at-height incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and implement preventive measures.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and client representatives to ensure safe execution of elevated work.
- Maintain documentation related to inspections, permits, equipment certifications, and compliance records.
- Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring full compliance with company HSE standards and applicable regulations.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹95,000.00 per month
