Cyboard School is seeking a skilled Software Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications and internal software solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP development, database management, front-end technologies, and debugging. The role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications that support the organization's operational and educational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications and software solutions.
- Develop and enhance applications using Core PHP and CodeIgniter.
- Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Design, manage, and optimize MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and performance issues.
- Develop and maintain real-time functionalities using WebSockets.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external systems as required.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and high availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Core PHP.
- Hands-on experience with the CodeIgniter Framework.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL database design, query optimization, and database management.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with WebSockets for real-time application development.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in software or web application development.
- Experience developing enterprise applications, ERP systems, EdTech platforms, or similar web-based solutions is preferred.
- Understanding of software security, performance optimization, and scalable application architecture.
