Front Office Supervision
- Oversee daily reception activities and staff performance
- Ensure proper patient registration and billing coordination
- Maintain discipline, grooming, and punctuality of reception staff
Patient Flow Management
- Monitor and manage patient flow at OP/IP counters
- Reduce waiting time and ensure smooth service
- Handle VIP patients and special cases efficiently
Staff Management
- Prepare duty rosters (day/night shifts)
- Train new reception staff on hospital procedures and software
- Conduct regular performance reviews
- Provide guidance and resolve staff issues
Appointment & Scheduling Control
- Supervise appointment booking system
- Coordinate with doctors for schedule updates
- Ensure proper communication of delays or changes to patients
Billing & Coordination
- Coordinate with billing/cashier department
- Ensure correct tariff, packages, and billing procedures
- Monitor errors and take corrective actions
Complaint Handling & Patient Care
- Handle patient complaints and escalations
- Ensure patient satisfaction and service quality
- Maintain a professional and polite environment
Coordination with Departments
- Liaise with doctors, nursing, pharmacy, lab, and admin
- Ensure smooth communication between departments
- Handle emergency patient coordination
Reports & Documentation
- Maintain daily/monthly front office reports
- Monitor patient registration statistics
- Ensure proper record keeping as per NABH standards
Policy Implementation & NABH Compliance
- Ensure front office follows hospital policies
- Implement NABH standards and protocols
- Conduct audits and corrective actions
Administrative Control
- Maintain reception area cleanliness and organization
- Monitor usage of forms, registers, and stationery
- Ensure proper functioning of systems and equipment
