The Body Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the body shop, ensuring high-quality repair work, customer satisfaction, productivity, and profitability. The role includes managing technicians, monitoring repair progress, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with customers and insurance companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all body shop operations.
- Ensure timely and quality completion of vehicle repairs.
- Monitor productivity and efficiency of technicians.
- Handle customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and surveyors.
- Maintain workshop safety and housekeeping standards.
- Control repair costs and manage departmental profitability.
- Train and develop body shop staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and manufacturer standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in body shop operations, with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle body repair and painting.
- Good communication and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and workshop management systems.
Location: APCO Hyundai, Thrissur.
Pay: ₹13,570.24 - ₹43,589.01 per month
